Background

The company is the flagship entity of Delhi based "Marck Group" engaged in broking in Stocks & Derivative products. The group is promoted by Mr. Ashok Kumar Aggarwal Jointly with Mr. Navin Kumar Maheshwari.

The Company started its activities, in the year 2000 as a brokerage house in the capital market, and extended its business to Future & Option segment in the year 2001.

Later the group, further ventured into Commodities Broking, Equity Research & Depository Services.

Market Intermediation

The GROUP currently provides services in the form of market intermediately of Capital market, Derivatives & Commodities & has the following licenses and approval from various authorities to provide services to individual investors and institutional customers:

•  Equity Market Trade Execution Service - Membership of the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

•  Derivatives Trading - Membership of Futures and Options Segment of National Stock Exchange.

•  On Line Trading Facility

•  Trade Execution through Private Network

•  Commodity Exchanges - The group has a trading membership of NCDEX and MCX, the two national level commodity exchanges. These exchanges offer facility to trade a broad range of commodities e.g. Bullion (Gold and Silver), other metals (Copper) and agro commodities like Oilseeds, Soya, Sugar, Castor, Cotton etc.

•  Depository : The group is the Depository Participant of NSDL and it has started activities in Apr, 2005.

People

Ashok Kumar Aggarwal , a Chartered Accountant and The Chairman of the group, has built up the group over the years with his forward-looking approach and fair business practices. He has more than 20 years of experience in Taxation practice and good hands on experience in securities markets in India.

Navin Kumar Maheshwari , co-promoter has been associated with the Stock Market since last 20 years. He has been running the business as a stock borker NSE & BSE for over a decade. He is responsible for looking at all day to day decision making and operations aspect of the group.

Vipin Kumar Maheshwari , a Commerce graduate is looking all the back office operations and systems aspects of the Company.

Anuj Karan Aggarwal , an MBA and commerce graduate is dynamically looking after all the marketing and infrastructure activities of the business. He is a leading force for execution and implementation of new ideas in the group.

Human resources and infrastructure

The company has invested in experienced and qualified people, office premises in strategic location, state of the art technology and communication network to provide information for aiding investment related decision-making.

The Group's human resources comprise of professionals viz,. Chartered accountants, and management graduates and experienced staff that includes dealers, analysts, sales, technology, compliance, financial control and operations personnel.

4.2 Networked office locations

Brokerage operations are carried out from Head office in New Delhi. Office space of over 5,000 square feet is available in the Heart of the City for providing various services. There is a state of the Art network & communications link across all the branch location. The network is spread over 6 states and over 40 associates locations. The Commodity exchange is also hooked on the network.

Multiple networks comprising of Private VSAT network, LAN /WAN /ISDN, L ease line, WEB based are all terminated to a common hub and risk management system. The network is used for trading, data transfer, common email access and chat. Over 25 locations are networked through VSAT to company's own private hub.

The security industry has been rapidly absorbing technological innovations in hardware, software and telecommunication, mobile and wireless applications. The group has recognized that for any participant to stay ahead in the race, understanding and absorbing these developments in technology is a must.

4.4. Research

Investors are provided with extensive information on markets and companies through, periodic market commentary and recommendations. This enables the investors to make informed decisions in time. The Company is strong technical & fundamental research arm of the group.

4.5 Trading

The Company lays significant importance on training and skill up gradation. The staff is trained both in-house and externally at all levels to enable maintain highest service standard in delivery. The Company associates are trained from time to time for familiarizing them with developments in the markets.

Customers

The customer base is predominately vast rates client, network & high networth individual and companies. The customers are serviced both directly and through the network of branches. The focus of the group has been to increase the reach through conventional channels supported by technological network to reduce the transaction cost for the investors. The group envisages that the knowledge-based approach will result in better value addition for the customers.
